13. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand.14. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;15. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;16. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.17. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:Ephesians 6:13-17 Paul explains spiritual warfare. Without the strength of God and His armor, you will fail in your stand. Truth is the foundation of Christianity. Having the heart covered in Christ's righteousness is safety. A proper foundation in the Gospel is sure footing for any battle. Faith in God wins all battles against wickedness. Satan can destroy the body but not the reward. The helmet of salvation protects the mind for the body, does what the mind says. The sword of the Spirit is the word of God. To effectively use the word of God, you must know it. And it will come alive when you use it. Amen.
