The Kingsport (TN) Fire Department rescued a dog that was stranded 20 feet on the top of a tree near the Nolichucky River.
They said that she was turned over to the local animal control to hopefully reunite her with her family.

It's hard to fathom how much water had to fall to make the flooding that high. Sad for those whose lives have been devastated. Glad this pup made it out ok.
