3. When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained. 4. What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?5. For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.6. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:Psalm 8:3-6 The psalmist considers the Creator as creating everything. He has no doubt that all things seen and unseen are the Lord's doing. He is amazed that this large and glorious work stars sun and moon was not the end or creation, God made man. And man, so small compared to the universe, yet made in God's likeness and image. God is so big He makes the universe with His fingers. Man, is so small that we are but a speck in comparison. Yet God visits men at His pleasure. Giving men a personal invitation to come close and know Him. Made a little lower than an angel, but the followers of Christ clothed in His Righteousness shall at the end be lifted up to a place of honor. Being given the glory to be members of God's family. Even the psalmist understood that God had put all things under Adam's hand. That God may be glorified in the salvation men. And share the eternal reward with all the believers in Christ. Amen.
