So Tim Walz cannot stop with the verifiable lies.It's now been revealed that he has been lying about being in Hong Kong when the Chinese Communist Party crushed the student protests that had roiled the country since mid-April of 1989 over the Tiananmen Square Massacre. In fact... He even lied about it during a Congressional hearing. He said explicitly that he was "IN HONG KONG in May of 1989."I was just going to teach high school in Foshan in Guangdong, and was in Hong Kong in May of ‘89," he said. "And as the events were unfolding, several of us went in. And I still remember the train station in Hong Kong." He went on: "There was a large number of, especially European, I think, very angry that we would still go after what had happened, but it was my belief at that time that the diplomacy was going to happen on many levels."It has since been repeated without correction, by him, the New York Times, CBS News, National Public Radio, local channels and others. In reality, local news reports show that Walz was at home in Nebraska in May and June of 1989. He wouldn’t depart for China until August when all of this was over. He was not there when everything happened. This was months after all the protests ended over the Tiananmen Square massacre. So in other words... He never saw any of the protests he was claiming to have seen. Zero.This guy is a disaster.What a mess for the Harris campaign. If the current Democratic Party wasn't so anti-semetic, they would have picked Josh Shapiro and dodged this fool. I definitely don't agree with Josh Shapiro on pretty much any policy, but he's at least not a fool. Walz is a fool.
