2. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
3. And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
4. They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way. they found no city to dwell in.
5. Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6. Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
Psalm 107:2-6
Those redeemed of the Lord should say so, give Him the praise. For He is worthy.
The reason Christ came was to rescue us from Satan. The devil used our flesh and turned it into a snare. And he has destroyed many before us.
On the way to the promised land, the people did not journey as going to a destination. Because of their unbelief, they wondered in the desert in a maze of desolation for forty years. Like a sinner going on and on in sin, no matter which road they take, it ends in destruction.
Their soul starved for spiritual food.
Some have come to trust the Savior and cried out to Him.
The Lord answered them. He delivered them out of their distresses.
Giving them the Bread of Life and the Living Water of eternal life.
This is only available through Christ the Savior. Amen.
