A beautiful, sunny, 70° day yesterday at Quantico National Cemetery. Heard a song on the radio that mentioned Lake Pontchartrain so I picked this picture of Mary and me at the 200th Anniversary of the Marine Corps ball. Mary's mom made her dress and the ball was held on a paddle boat that went up and down the Mississippi River. It's a miracle no one fell overboard. Mary and I went sailing on Lake Pontchartrain one night with our friend June and a friend of hers. New Orleans has always been very special to us.
