My yellow roses streak is still going strong. I was putting stuff in the frunk of the Vette and a lady stopped thinking I was having car problems. I thank her and told no and that the engine was actually in the back. She said she liked my Make America Great Again hat which was my cue to ask if they needed TRUMP yard signs. I gave her and her mom six signs. Driving back home heard a song from when we lived in New Orleans so I picked this picture of Mary at a bar in the French Quarter from one of our visits to our old stomping grounds. Saturday I was able to grab the last dozen yellow roses to keep the new streak going. On my way from Chili's to Barley Naked Brewing Company, I stopped at the house to drop off fresh eggs my awesome bartender Stephanie gives me and picked up my 9mm equalizer (weapons not allowed at the Cemetery). As I was pulling up the driveway a Van Morrison song came on. This picture of Mary at Kailua Beach is the one I picked to go with the song. Link in the comments ❤️

Let's see if I can get another streak going. Found another picture of Mary and Zoe from our trip to Key West. I wonder if Zoe remembers a Golden Retriever we saw sitting on a stool at a bar we went to when we where there. I’m sure she remembers going to the Ernest Hemingway house and chasing the six-toe cats 🐈 that live there. Zoe has always been a lover of animals. Link to a Hall and Oates song while driving back from the Cemetery ❤️

My winning streak of finding yellow roses was broken this weekend. These hot pink roses were the best looking ones of the limited selection available. Picked this picture of Mary, our niece Zoe, and me in Key West. I always stop at Chili's for a couple of margaritas (one for me and one for Mary) on my drive back from the Cemetery. That was the motivation for this post's song, which drove the selection of the picture. It's a way to make the memories fun ❤️

We need the rain so I'm not complaining. Found this picture of Mary at her desk when she worked in Honolulu. I loved her long hair but it took her a lot of time to get ready for work. She asked me if I would mind her cutting it shorter. I'm glad we got a picture of her before she got it cut. Having short hair really cut down the amount of time getting ready for work. Picked a song for this post (no rhyme or reason for the selection). Link to it in the comments ❤️
