⚠️The US ARMY, the
@US_FDA
, &
@GileadSciences
announced in March of 2019 that the FDA approved the use of Remdesivir through the "Animal Rule" which the FDA has NEVER done before! 🚨
This was established as a means to open regulatory pathways for developing therapeutics against diseases that are considered too dangerous for traditional human clinical-trials. It was the first time the FDA has ever provided formal regulatory agreement for using an animal model to support drug development under the "Animal Rule" for Ebola virus infections, Giliead's Remdesivir.
What was the animal model?
The FDA agreed that the rhesus macaque [monkey] model, infected by intramuscular injection was sufficient as a single-animal model for therapeutic product development against Ebola in humans. 😵
Too add insult to injury the entire study was paid for by the company that is TRYING TO SELL US THE FKN DRUGS! ⚠️
