8-23-'24, WBR Live, “Daily Constitution”, “Hillbilly Friday”, (Pic on wimkin), Just and update today on the grill/hot tub water heater/smoker/dehydrator/heat source, and the rock landscaping/one rock a day/water line insulation/winter morning heat thermal for birds, projects. The hood still needs a lot of shaping, but the basic shape and size is presented. The rocks are mostly in place with about 5 yards of fill for the cover and rocks' setting for placement retention still on order. I may leave some of the hood heat diffuser attached next to the proposed connection to the hood vent. The added diffuser (behind) with the hood should keep the local area cool enough to keep the temporary plastic cover intact this winter, until I can get the patio door and glass into the frame. I would like to put salted cinder (red road salt) on the drive, to help keep the squirrels away, and the plant growth suppressed there, but I'm not sure if it will be good for said bids.
