But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.16. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.1 Corinthians 2:12-16 Paul states that we are born into the world, but as believers, we have put off the sinful nature. And received wisdom from the Spirit of God. To explain spiritual things to spiritual people. We all start out as carnal men. God is not displeased because we eat sleep and work. But we are without spiritual insight. Our soul and where it will reside in eternity is not a priority. We were all under judgment, walking dead men. To the carnal man salvation is foolishness. His focus is on this world and not the one to come. He can not detect, learn, discover, perceive, recognize, the things of God. No carnal man is equipped to judge a spiritual man. Who could teach Christ anything, He who made everything, things as yet we have no knowledge of. But Christ has taught us from the Gospel message how to please God. This is the meaning of life and leads to eternal life. In this body dwells no good thing, till you surrender to Christ. Amen.
