2. As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:3. If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.4. To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5. Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, accepted to God by Jesus Christ.6. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. 1 Peter 2:2-6 ?? As a child of the most High God, if you expect to grow in Him, you must be fed, and the word of God, is our food. Those who have tasted it, will come to know the Lord, seeing He is gracious, and will continue feeding on it. For as long as we are here, we shall hunger, for the understanding of it. Christ, is the Head of His church, we are part of the building, being dead to sin, but alive in Christ, we are able to offer to our Lord, what is acceptable, giving thanks and praise, for His great work. Being made precious to us as Savior, we shall never be miserable in His presence. Amen.
