So, this is the attempt at saving my hand. After it had been cut off, the transplant team at OSHU managed to reattach what they could and even get blood pumping through most of it again. In the end, me and the doctors decided not to keep it. It was just going to be more hassle than cutting it off and going with prosthetics. That was a hard decision, but I feel it was the right one. Most of the scaring would have diminished, and it just would've looked like one of Deadpool's hands minus two fingers and an inch of width. But I would've had to worry about hitting it on stuff, muscle complications, regular surgeries.... nah. I like the nub. It works. And the prosthetics are cool as hell.
