6. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Romans 5:1-5
Our justification, just as if we never sinned, is in Christ. We have peace with God through His suffering and death. No person can earn a place in heaven. It is by grace that we are saved.
Christ is our access to God. All have sinned and fallen short.
Christ died at the time determined by the Father for the sins of mankind. This is proof of God's love. And no living person will ever suffer like Christ and He was innocent. Yet He gave His life freely so we could live with Him.
Covered by Christ's blood we have been freed from the punishment we deserved.
For Christ saved us as sinners, enemies of God, but His followers were reconciled to God, and as He rose from the grave so shall we to the reward promised. Amen.
