16. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
18. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Romans 1:16-20
Paul, after his conversion, with boldness, preach the Gospel of Christ. And in the power of God, to change a sinner into a saint. Something that is impossible to the carnal man.
Christ's Gospel is a declaration and revelation of salvation through Christ. He came to the Jews first who mostly rejected Him and now made it available to the Gentile nations.
In the Gospel, the work of salvation brings obedience to the precepts of God. From faith of preachers to faith of hearers from faith of the Old to the faith in the New Testament saints. And the just shall live by the faith that grows in them daily.
The wrath of God is revealed in that there is no justification from sin without Christ. This shall be displayed on Christ's return.
God has made known to the redeemed the nature of the three persons of the Godhead and Christ as Mediator and the God-man sacrifice for the sins of men.
God, in the creation of all things seen and unseen, shows His power and perfection. So, as those who refuse Christ, like those who made fun of the Lord's last supper at the Olympics, will be without excuse to object to God's righteous judgment against them. Amen.
