To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.Psalm 136:1-5 The psalmist having a good understanding of the Lord Christ and of His numerous works. The Lord is good and above all His creations. Thanks should be given daily for all the blessings we receive. His mercy is everlasting, as is His love. He has put our transgressions behind Him out of sight. The Lord who created man is above all the gods men have invented. Not one can talk, hear, or move. They can do no harm or good. They are worthless. Christ is above all gods because He can create. Christ is God in the form of a man, Immanuel, God with us. The Lord is the Messiah, Savior of all mankind showing favor to His followers, and providing a safe place from evil and destruction. Who can number His wonders in creation. On earth and in the universe, He alone can make a star as the sun and a moon to give light at night. It is by His wisdom He made all that was made. There is no other. No other sacrifice for sin. All He has done is because of His goodness and mercy. Even the place He has prepared for those who reverence Him and receive eternal life. Amen.
