54. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.55. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?56. The sting of death is sin; and the strength of the sin is the law.57. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.1 Corinthians 15:54-58 Paul speaks in his letter about how we all will be changed from this human form into an eternal being. To those who belong to Christ, death has no sting, and the grave can not hold them. Sin is the cause of death. And if there were no commandments, there would be no sin. Jesus Christ, the Son of God has secured our victory on the cross. All labor for Christ is useful and is rewarded by Christ. Those who have refused Christ, even those who do not believe, will have Christ as a judge and not a Savior. The clock is ticking some will not make it through this day. Receive Christ and receive the reward. Amen.
