Really not a bad grouping. In reality, those things are smaller than the average human torso. That's plenty enough accuracy to shut down an attacker.

Good group. They are low most likely because you are anticipating the recoil. Focusing on your sights helps take your mind off of the recoil. And dry fire practice helps with it also
