13. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
14. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
15. As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
16. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
17. But the mercy of the LORD is for everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
Psalm 103:13-17
The psalmist reveals his relationship with Christ. Written over three thousand years ago revealing the personal relationship Christ has with all who believe. As creator of all Christ is as a Father to all who reverence God.
It makes no difference what nation you come from. Believing in Christ is essential to salvation.
For Christ being sent to pay in full our debt to sin. Completed the task with His own life and blood.
Because He knew very well how short our time is here. And that we shall never return to this place again.
Like flowers in a garden, can you remember their beauty and aroma after they are gone?
Yet Christ's mercy can not be measured. The Godhead is eternal, with no beginning and no end. Our life here is but a vapor before Him.
Christ's sacrifice insured our salvation covering us and our children's children with His Righteousness to all who reverence and obey the Lord. Amen. Let it be so.
