34. Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respector of persons:
35. But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
36. The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
37. That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism, which John preached;
38. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Acts 10:34-38
Peter sees that God accepts everyone who repents from sining and walks in His ways.
Peter explained that salvation is only through Christ. Christ came to the Jewish nation first but was rejected by the majority. And now it is offered to the Gentiles.
Peter tells them that it is Christ who is Lord of all because He created all.
The Father sent Christ in the form of a man. And laid on Him the iniquity of us all. And He accepted it without any complaints.
The Father was with Him from cradle to cross.
And through His suffering and death, by His blood, He purchased our pardon and took our punishment in His own body. This is why you can not be saved by any other. For Christ is the sacrifice for sin without spot or blemish. And these men listening to Peter are filled with the same Spirit that came to Peter and the others in the upper room on Pentecost. Amen.
