1. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.2. Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.3. If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?4. But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.5. I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. Psalm 130:1-5 The psalmist cries to the Lord, burden by his sin. The separation from God to him is unbearable. The Lord is attentive to the prayers of repentant sinners. His grace and mercy are unmatched in all of creation. Not one sinner could stand before God without Christ. He is the Mediator, between God and sinful men. Christ has paid our debt in full. We can add nothing to it. And we are declared not guilty. We have been totally forgiven and pardoned. This forgiveness and pardon is only through Christ our Lord. My soul waits on the Lord for He has brought me out of darkness into His wonderful light, and where light is no darkness can be. Thank you, Lord, for Your Salvation and eternal life. Amen.
