Part of the conspiracy hypothesisezzzerzz problem is that they simply cannot, or will not, vet sources. They refuse to believe accurate sources ("they're part of the cover-up!!!"), but "there's a patent!" is, to them, proof of... something.  They claim a photo of a contrail, or a cloud is proof of chemtrails, because they have absolutely no idea what is going on when it comes to weather, and aviation. These images are approved patents. Patents are meant to protect an idea. Many patents never progress beyond an idea due to the idea being inherently impractical, and just downright silly.A patent is not always proof of existence.
