Israel created “hundreds of fake social media accounts posing as Americans” on X, Facebook and Instagram to pressure US lawmakers into supporting the Jewish state’s war in Gaza.
The influence peddling operation was carried out by Tel Aviv marketing firm Stoic and commissioned by the Israeli Ministry of Diaspora Affairs for $2 million.
