Learning to become your own cheerleader is a useful tool in achieving your goals. For some reason, we all have that little voice in our head, that more often than not, tries to convince us of our limitations, instead of our inherent abilities.I guess it’s a primitive survival mechanism at best and an indoctrination consequence at worst. Whatever it is, one must learn to quieten the mental negativity and instead learn to be positive and encouraging to oneself, after all, if not you, then who? When I feel overwhelmed about the prospect of doing something new that pushes my usual boundaries, I find myself having to repeat this simple mantra; ‘you can do it, you can do it, you can do it’. It seems silly, but it works. Don’t wait for others to cheer you on. As nice a feeling as that may be, one must not wait for others to motivate you, you must motivate yourself. The external cheering will come when people see how you dared to do something they did not expect, so surprise yourself and others by not falling into the safety of your comfort zone. Safety is the polar opposite of success. Nothing was ever achieved without risking something, so even if you’re just risking making a fool of yourself, it’s better to learn from failure, than to regret not having even tried.C’mon! You can do it! 😊https://t.me/LauraAbolichannel
