Mental and emotional baggage can really weigh down on your health. Learning to process and letting go of past traumas, is as essential to your well being, as your diet and habits.There is no magic formula for this, it simply takes time and discipline. You have to become your own coach; that little voice in your head that stops you from constantly revisiting, reminiscing and re-suffering the past. You can analyse things, process and verbalise them in order to release painful feelings, but beyond that, it’s a matter of discipline, of taking control and not allowing yourself to fall into victimhood or unnecessarily dwelling in the past. Learn from it, release the pain and focus on the present.
