1. O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.
2. Thou knowest my downsitting and my uprising, thou understandestmy thought afar off.
3. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
4. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
5. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
6. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
Psalm 139:1-6
God knows all men, He knows His people in a special way. And He searches the inner man, He knows that sin dwell in each of them, yet it is forgiven through Christ, those who refuse Christ He knows not.
God's people are protected in their rest and in their work. God is acquainted with all their ways, He is surprised by nothing.
All their words are known before being spoken, for He knows all the thoughts of the heart.
His hand is on the redeemed. We have not been consumed in our trespasses because His compassion fails not, He knows we are but dust, and our time is short.
This kind of love, the psalmist, nor myself can comprehend it. Christ is faithful ! We love Him because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19. Amen.
