In 1997 a class action was launched by former students of the Jericho School For The Deaf where over 350 students were sexually abused. The B.C. Government paid out $12.5 million as a result.
In 1996 The West Point Grey Academy was started & began occupying the 1960's constructed buildings formerly known as the Jericho School For The Deaf.
If you're not familiar with West Point Grey Academy, one of the teachers was convicted child sex offender, Chris Invaldson, former roommate of Justin Trudeau.
But I'm sure it's just a coincidence... Right?
