There are 770 bridges with a total length of 381km and 229 tunnels totalling 468.5km along the line. The Haoji Railway has 21 terminals and has a design capacity of more than 200 million tonnes a year.It reduces transit time from 20 days by sea to just 3 days by rail. Construction started in 2015 and the railway was opened on 28 September 2019. Remarkable! Total reported cost of US $28 billion dollars.
