🇺🇸'SCRUBS' PRODUCER CHARGED WITH 28 COUNTS OF RAPE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT
Eric Weinberg, a 63-year-old Hollywood producer known for his work on "Scrubs," has been ordered to stand trial on 28 charges, including rape and sexual assault.
The charges stem from incidents between 2014 and 2019 involving 8 alleged victims.
At a preliminary hearing, 9 women testified that Weinberg used the guise of photography sessions at his home to isolate and assault them.
Several described experiences of being choked or fearing for their lives during the assaults.
The judge, Charlaine Olmedo, denied Weinberg bail, citing his "predatory" behavior and potential public safety risk.
