1. O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. 2. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;3. And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south. 4. They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.5. Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. 6. Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.Psalm 107:1-6 Hear the psalmist speaks clearly of Christ. Written 536 years before Christ's birth. Only God's mercy can be available in every age of man and beyond. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Only those who have submitted to Christ will understand that salvation through Christ has delivered them from sin's bondage, being slaves to Satan, confined in a prison that ends in destruction and misery. Christ has gathered sinners out of every land into God's family into a relationship where they are forgiven, restored from a sentence of death, pardoned, and given the promise of eternal life. Christ in His Gospel message has gathered sinners from the wilderness, and provided an eternal home prepared by Him. Those in the wilderness were hungry and thirsty for spiritual truth's which Christ fed them, reviving the souls, that were doomed and gave them joy in salvation and comfort that would never fade. This because they cried out to Him and He delivered them from many distresses by leading them in the right and proper way. Amen.
