1. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.2. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:3. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;4. Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;Psalm 103:1-4 The psalmist speaks prophetically of new testament times in this song. It can be sung by every believer. The soul, which comes from God and shall return to Him, should be at its best in a regenerated state made available by Christ's sacrifice. The soul that has been redeemed is thankful for it can be saved by none but Christ the Lord. His blood has paid sin's debt, and forgiveness is sure. Even the psalmist was secured in this knowledge a thousand years before Christ was born. Christ healed the dead soul, giving life eternal in place of destruction. We have been redeemed from the lowest hell and have received grace, mercy, lovingkindness, and eternal glory in Christ. Praise Him all His saints, Christ has done what only He could do. The King of Glory is worthy of all our praise. Amen.
