I thought you might want to know how the fluid injection systems work on a high bypass ratio turbofan. This schematic shows water as a general baseline fluid and as you can see, we use 2 entry points, one pre first stage compressor and one at the diffuser. The schematic is a simplified one but I wanted to show you the general layout, control solenoids and manifold set up to help you understand the current technology involved.
