7. The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 8. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.9. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.10. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.11. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. Psalm 19:7-11 The scriptures and gospel message contain the whole mind and will of God, which is perfect, and when believed, will convert the soul of sinful men. His word is pure and powerful, making wise the simple. The words and commands of God are right, having no flaws, only righteousness and truth, leading men to salvation and eternal life in Christ Jesus. Nothing can rejoice the heart like this. The fear of God is to worship and reverence God by obedience to His Gospel. The blood of Christ cleans all sin and filthiness forever. And the church and the members are covered in Christ's righteousness. All the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous, for He can not lie. These are to be desired more than gold or the sweetest food. For they are eternal. The psalmist reveals such a powerful truth by them that we are warned, and there is a great reward for who live in God's ways. Amen.
