8. The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. 9. The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. 10. All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee. 11. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;12. To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.Psalm 145:8-12 The psalmist reveals a great truth of Christ. Full of mercy and slow to anger. Christ shared His goodness with all in that He sacrificed Himself to save all men from sin, but not all received His grace. The redeemed will without restraint praise Christ, and shall lift up His name for He has done what they could not, freeing them from their sinful nature. Only the redeemed know of the kingdom of God revealed by the Spirit, Christ said the kingdom of God is within you. Those whose spirits are subject to Christ will speak of His power and glory in that they are new creatures the old man has been put off. They have been forgiven and promised eternal life, and they live for Christ, transformed forever, and will continuously share the kingdom message to all who will listen. Amen Lord Jesus, let it be so.
