It is a construct of whatever method of measurement and definition used. Therefore(?) the 'shape' of the universe is dependent on the time and measurement used, even in 'Math'. Sometimes less is more. A couple of reasons to research this project: Cost, market/availability/reliability, energy requirement familiarization, home hand tool requirement proficiency/practice, and hazardous material handling, etc.. This generator will supply (reportedly) 3 HP constant, without due stress on assembly. One can figure about 1,000Watts = 1HP, with efficiency loss. Enough for smal,l heated area, refrigeration, and communication. The (mostly scavenged) parts for the extended platform are not that complex: Some small bolts (locations to pre-drilled holes on frame). 2 – 1.5-2” angle iron from shelving, 1 – 1” Dia. Aluminum tube from GKW, “Axel” and plastic tires from rusted BBQ, A platform to fit. The propane tank is industry standard, but there are some typical problems with the E-Bay conversion kit I ordered. The hose connection to the regulator is just -1- size smaller than the one connected to the venturi. The threads on all the brass are quite loose and requires significant Teflon tape (provided) to seal securely. The industry connection of the supply flex hose will not bottom out on the regulator (1/4” slide on tightened connection to supply tube). Not only these leaks will dramatically affect any regulated performance but are an area of very potential hazard. These are the kind of things to look for in any “some assembly required”, “mail order” constructions. Speaking of which, this is a cart, then tank, to be moved the correct distance away, to all code, and will be able to run on alternate [available fuel(s)], but you keep the gas tank empty, with the LP running the generator while you get -fresh- gas in town.
