Comet Pons-Brooks lined up with Jupiter and a setting crescent moon Tuesday evening. The comet's tail has developed an interesting corkscrew pattern, so I assume it's spiraling.
The main image was captured with a Sony a7r2 and 70-200mm lens on a tracking mount. Jupiter and the stars are a stack of several 30s exposures. The moon was captured with a 2s shutter speed to retain detail. The comet detail was captured at the same time from the remote observatory using a Takahashi FSQ106 and ASI6200MC Pro camera and aligned using the stars for the correct position and scale.
