2. When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly. 3. The earth and all inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah. 4. I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:5. Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.6. For promotion. cometh not from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.7. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.Psalm 75:2-7 I pray that all who read this can see Christ. First His coming to minister salvation to sinful men. Then His glory on His return where He will reward the righteous according to their deeds, and judge the wicked according to their refusal of His work of salvation. In verse 2 Christ received gifts of the Spirit without measure, and gave them to men. The congregation is the redeemed, and Christ, the righteous judge, will judge without errors. Verse 3 is speaking of the end where the earth and heaven are dissolved by fervant heat being purged and purified from any effects of sin. Christ sustaining the new heaven, and earth. Christ through the Gospel has warned the wicked, the boasters, mockers, and scoffers. They used their wealth and power to injure the weak and believers also. And those that spoke against Christ with a stiff neck, with blasphemy against Christ and His Father. Verse 5. Verse 6 and 7 speaks of power and authority, which men thinks they own. But it is God who is all powerful lifting one up and putting another down. And those who He raised up many were placed in a slippery place which ended in destruction, Pharaoh is an example. The fool continues in his iniquity having no concern for where he will spend eternity. But to those who have submitted to Christ, every sin has been paid for and placed as far as east is from the west, never to be discovered, because they are moving in opposite directions. All honor and power and glory to the eternal King. Amen.
