10. According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness. 11. Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.12. Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.13. Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.14. For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.Psalm 48:10-14 This psalm of 14 verses is about our Lord Christ. Zion, the city of God. The mountain of His holiness. God has established it forever. On Christ, the solid Rock is the church of Christ built, He did not come to replace Jews with Christians, for we are the wild olive branch grafted into the true Branch. Jesus was a Jew and came and lived as one sinless and fulfilled the law where we failed. This is why He is to be praised. The righteousness of Christ covers us. And we receive every spiritual blessing at His hand. As Christ is the gate to heaven, without Him, we will not see it. When Christ returns, He will return to Israel and no other country. He will defend the daughters of Jerusalem, who are the believers. The Lord Christ is the refuge and protector of every child of the most High. For God, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost have their dwelling places in Zion. And Christ who came here in the flesh, who is spoken of in this entire song, distinguished from every idol and false god, by rising from death, He is our Peace, the Living Water, and those who follow, will never experience the second death. And all praise to Christ Savior of the world. Amen.
