YOU'Re EASILY OFFENDED
People spend most of their lives feeling offended by what someone did to them. The amazing revelation I'm going to make to you is going to change your life... Nobody has offended you! It is your expectations of what you expected from those people, the ones that hurt you.
And you create the expectations with your thoughts. They are not real. They are imaginary. If you expected your parents to give you more love and they didn't give it to you, you don't have to feel offended.
They are your expectations of what an ideal father should have done with you. Your ideas are the ones that hurt you.
If you expected your partner to react in this or that way and didn't do it... Your partner hasn't done anything to you. It's the difference between the attentions you expected to have with you and the ones you really had, the ones that hurt you. Again, that's in your imagination.
One of the greatest sources of offenses is to try to impose the point of view of one person on another and guide their life. When you tell him what he should do and he says "no," you create double resentments.
First, you feel offended because she didn't do what you wanted.
Second, the other person is offended because you didn't accept her as she is. And it's a vicious circle. All people have the divine right to guide their lives as they please. They will learn from their mistakes on their own. Let them be! No one belongs to you and your partner is not your SON.
People are a powerful river. Any attempt to catch them will hurt you. Love them, enjoy them and let them go.
1.- Understand that no one has offended you. These are your ideas about how people should act. These ideas are the product of what you have learned from your childhood unconsciously. Recognize that most people will NEVER fit in with those ideas you have. Because they have theirs.
2.- Let people BE. Let them guide their lives as they please. It's your responsibility. Give them advice if they ask you for it, but allow them to make their decisions. The opinions are asked for are not given.
3.- Nobody belongs to you. Neither your parents, nor friends, nor couples, nor your children. We are all part of the gear of nature. Let things flow without resisting them. LIVE and let LIVE.
4.- Stop thinking too much. Open up to the possibility of new experiences. Open your eyes and watch the flow of life as it is. When you clean your vision of dark lenses and take them off, you will see things clearer.
5.- Perfection doesn't exist. Not even the mother, friend, perfect partner, there are only the deliciously imperfect.
For a fish, the perfect sea would be one where there are no predators, does it exist? NO. Only on an intellectual level. In reality, IT WILL NEVER EXIST.
Naturally, the fish only has to enjoy their reality.
Any frustration that the sea is not what it wants it to be doesn't make sense. Stop resisting that people are not the way you want or don't think like you do. Accept people as the fish accepts the sea and love them as they are.
6.- Enjoy life. Real life is more beautiful and exciting than any idea you have of the world.
7.-That's why it's better to forgive and follow our path. That way we don't carry backpacks.. That they make the road more difficult for us..
8.- In the light of the short life we have, we only have time to live, enjoy and be happy.
Each person is free... Your personal decisions, even if it is your partner, should not affect you. Because we all have a mission in life.
This is why many marriages fail. They want the other or the other to do what they want, without caring about taking their partner.
In order for it to work, the pros and cons must be discussed and together they must agree.
No one is a slave to the other, I hope they understand it...
