8. The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.9. The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.10. All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.11. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;12. To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.Psalm 145:8-12 The psalmist penned this song 1015 years before Christ's birth. If you doubt the Bible's authenticity how would King David in his old age write a song praising his Lord. Only someone who had an intimate relationship with Christ would know these things. How could you know the Lord is gracious without experiencing it. Or that He is kind, good, and full of mercy. Slow to anger. These things are hidden from the ungodly, but Christ withholds nothing from His own. His works shall praise Him, not what Christ created, but those He saved, His saints, many calling themselves saints shall be disappointed at the end. God is the one who accepts one and casts out another. And how without knowledge of Christ could King David sing of the glory of His kingdom. The kingdom of God so different from those on earth. There is no entry into heaven through an earthly kingdom. So King David is speaking of Christ's kingdom, those who have been saved have Christ for their King, and give Him the glory for His work of salvation, 1015 years before Christ is born King David is praising his King and Savior. Reading the Bible will not save you, but it will introduce you to the One who can. And only those saved will confess the Bible is true. It has very strict rules that must be followed. It's knowing Christ as King David knew Him and trusted Him. These Christ will admit to all, these are my saints, and they shall be welcomed into His Kingdom. Amen.
