7. God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.
8. O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?
9. Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves, thereof arise, thou stillest them.
Psalm 89:5-9
Here, the psalmist reveals his knowledge of Christ, and this knowledge does not come by accident. This knowledge comes from spending time with Him.
When you look at the night sky, do you not see the wonders of God, nothing giving off light were put there by chance. Everything working in order of how they were created. The heavenly hosts angels without number serving their Creator with faithfulness.
All in heaven are created by Christ, from nothing He spoke all into existence. None can do what He is able to do. He is reverenced by all who are around Him.
Even the angels praise the Lord for His redemption of the children of men.
The sun, moon, and stars, the hosts of heaven, who is able to create one, or to remove one out of its place. As each one does exactly what it was created to do. The psalmist gives us a lesson, we should do as they do, being obedient to what we were created to do. Bringing glory to the God of all creation.
We are like the sea, sometimes calm, other times tempestuous, unpredictable.
Yet the Lord rules the seas and its waves, and calms the furious and roaring storms.
Also to the redeemed He says be still, He is ever present, a place of refuge from destruction. There have been none disappointed who have put all their trust in Him. Amen.
