She put on her wings
and decided to play,
a character from a book
on world book day.
She sat with the angels,
in God's land,
with a make believe book
and a wand in her hand.
She tapped on the paper,
and words appeared.
And a poem was written,
as everyone cheered.
The children then gathered,
the older ones too
and together they wrote
these words for you.
Live in the moment,
enjoy every day.
Laugh at the memories
and let children play.
Don't waste time over things,
that you can't control.
Be kind to all.
Be a beautiful soul.
Remember those lost,
whilst life you embrace.
It is your story.
Own your place.
Try to stay wise,
and always be brave
Cherish each moment.
Collect memories to save.
Cherish your loved ones,
say "I love you."
but most of all
show them you do.
A chapter was written,
in the heavens above
and sent down to earth,
with words of love.
The Angels then danced,
as stories they told,
and they lived happily ever after,
and never grew old...
