If you think it’s more “Spiritual” to ride a bike or by public means to work, but then you find yourself judging people who ride, you have fallen into an Ego trap.
If you think it’s more “Spiritual” to stop watching TV because it cancels the brain, but then you find yourself judging those who still watch it, you have fallen into an Ego trap.
If you think it’s more “Spiritual” to avoid reading newspapers and gossip magazines, but then you find yourself judging those who read them, you have fallen into an Ego trap.
If you think it’s more “Spiritual” to listen to classical music or the sounds of nature, but then you find yourself judging people who listen to commercial music, you have fallen into an Ego trap.
One must always be careful about the feeling of "superiority". This is actually the most important clue we have to understand that we are running into an ego trap. The ego cleverly hides in noble thoughts such as starting a vegetarian diet or using a bicycle and then transforming into a sense of superiority over those who don’t follow the same “spiritual” path...
