She showed kindness
to every soul that she met.
She was gentle in a way,
that no one could forget.
She nurtured the broken,
and mended hearts with her touch.
She gave what she had,
even when she didn't have much.
She lended her ear,
and opened her heart.
She had a way of turning a mess
into beautiful art.
She knew first hand,
what it was like to come last.
You could just tell someone like her
didn't have an easy past.
How else would she
know so very well
how to be an angel,
If she hadn't been through hell...
