For those who are curious, yes, you can take a photo of the partial phases of the eclipse using your smartphone. To do so, you must attach a solar filter to your phone. Here is a photo of the sun today and how we took it.Fun fact, that darker spot is a sunspot! It's so large, we were able to see it just by wearing our eclipse glasses.
