After days – or was it weeks? – of rain and grey skies over Bourgoyen-Ossemeersen, Ghent, Belgium, Roeland Gielen (Member 62,412) finally saw the sky part to reveal some blue. A weather front was pulling away, and a band of Altocumulus cloud moved off towards the horizon like the wing of a giant aircraft taxiing down a runway. A fringe of trailing Cirrus extended from it like speed lines as the wing’s shadow passed over the marshes and fencerows below. Fasten your seatbelts, cloudspotters, and have a good trip!
