It has emerged that the 48 FFG APC armored vehicles supplied by the German army to Ukraine so far are not suitable for combat. ▪️The armor of the vehicles is extremely weak. ▪️The vehicles lack protection against artillery, missile, and mortar fire, as well as against mines and shrapnel. ▪️The vehicles only provide protection against small arms fire. ▪️The German Ministry of Defense claimed that Ukraine did not request mine-resistant vehicles at that time, but Ukrainian officials said they were forced to choose this vehicle because the Germans did not offer them a mine-resistant vehicle option. ▪️Another issue in Germany regarding the sale of FFG APCs is the money paid to the manufacturer by the Ministry of Defense. ▪️According to previous sales reports, the price of an FFG APC ranges from 185,000 to 208,000 euros. ▪️However, for the agreement covering 66 vehicles, the Ministry of Defense paid approximately three times that amount per vehicle, totaling approximately 40 million euros. — BILD
