5. And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
8. And they departed quickly from the sepulcher with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
9. And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by his feet, and worshipped him.
Matthew 28:5-9
An angel comes down from heaven and rolls away the sealed stone covering the entrance to Christ's tomb.
And he speaks to the women who had arrived first. Saying do not be afraid I know you have come to see Jesus, but He is not here, He has risen, as He said. Come see where the Lord lay. Christ is Lord over angels and men, and all He created.
And telling them to go quickly and tell the others that He has risen and is going to Galilee to see them.
And they ran to tell the others with fear at what they had just witnessed, and joy that Christ was alive.
And as they went Jesus greets them and they worship at His feet.
Many thought that this was the end of Jesus, but God's not dead, He is alive and still interceding on our behalf still healing restoring saving sinners to the glory of His Father.
And when we see Him, we shall have joy unspeakable. Amen.
