Lexina Burton (Cloud Appreciation Society Member 57,812) saw a Stratocumulus cloud in the shape of a jet taking off from Exmouth, Western Australia. ‘Would a cloud jet leave a contrail in its wake?’ she wondered. We’ve no idea, but, clearly, it can leave a bright burst of the sunbeams known as crepuscular rays.
