Forgive me, just as I can forgive those who offend me, even when my heart is broken.
Don't let me fall into the temptations of errors, addictions and selfishness.
And deliver me from all evil, from all violence, from all calamity, and from all sickness... Deliver me from all pain, all heartache and all disappointment.
But still, when such difficulties become necessary, may I have the strength and courage to say: Thank you, Father, for this lesson!
