“North”.
New information: The Earth (rust) makes Methane. Do we want all that 'Ice” in our atmosphere? Try to keep up. That much “we consider these truths to be self-evident”. It is possible that there are other things going on up there as well (beyond the obvious “Great Northwest Passage”)? Big Ships in the sky up there in particular. Gravitational activity? Who dat den?
I am going to presume, for the sake of argument/story continuity, that the Sirens are in control of the oceans and -probably- the Moon. This includes the stories of the entry points in the oceans around the South Pole in particular (as well as some in the North). Other than the apple and the linear laser intersection measurement machine, we just don't have anything to measure these gravitational fluctuation and eddies.
As stated, it would appear that electrical, electrical magnetic and gravitational torsion just don't play well together. Even very small fluctuation (possibly present in the shape in spaces around planet and groups of that Conch Shell -infatuate 'paisley' repeat pattern- and the 6-point air flow around the Saturn poles in that atmosphere), hitting that gravity eddy at even close to light speed would shred the electrical functions to scrap. As presented in the Phoenix lights explorer ship with the 9(?) engines (shut some down so they don't fail from contacts).
The South pole stories were met (on the 'other side') with a large secure ship, indicating awareness, monitoring, and focus on those locations there. The 'North Planet' may have found a way to move large craft through those openings, however. If (as presumed) the pyramids were able to turn pressure flexing into electrical(?) energy, can piezoelectric action make gravitation/pressure from specific type of energy applied to crystals?
Now the WEF wants to assume the property around the north functions with a war on Russia and anyone that gets in their way.. What a surprise!

As long as intelligent life had been here they’ve put monoatomic gold dust into the upper atmosphere to manage Earth’s temperature.
